Protocol Q1 2010 Philanthropic Efforts A Resounding Success
Local clothing drives throughout the U.S. and Canada see neighbors helping neighbors.
Sarasota, FL, April 22, 2010 – Protocol Global Solutions today announced the outstanding results of its first quarter
2010 philanthropic initiative—a company-wide clothing drive for the less fortunate.
“Once again, our people have stepped up to the challenge and worked together to help others in their communities,”
said Chris Haerich, Vice President of Compliance, Training and Quality and head of Protocol’s philanthropic efforts.
“With over 2,700 clothing items donated through the thoughtful giving of our employees, as well as their families and
friends, we’ve set the bar high for our 2010 philanthropic programs.”
In Protocol’s 6 North American locations, a total of over 2,200 employees participated in the clothing drive. In each
location, employees chose the organization to benefit from their efforts. These organizations included The Dream
Center in Sarasota, Florida, The Clothes Closet of Warehouse Church in Aurora, Illinois, the PIP Shelter in Worcester,
Massachusetts, The Sharing Center in Merritt Island, Florida, Relief Haiti in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and The
Good Shepherd in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. At least 300 pieces of clothing were donated at each location.
Looking ahead in 2010, Protocol’s efforts to help others will continue with a Q2 program that offers employees the
opportunity to join with Habitat for Humanity in helping to build simple, decent, affordable housing for those in need.
Lending a hand at many of the overwhelmed and understaffed community homeless shelters will be the focus of Q3.
The year ends with a holiday food and toy drive to benefit the Toys for Tots and Adopt an Angel programs.

“I’m delighted with our Q1 results, and I want to say thank you to all those who participated,” said Don Norsworthy,
President and CEO. “It proves, once again, that the spirit of philanthropy is an important part of the culture at
Protocol. Our employees represent the face of the company in the communities where they live, and they’ve made an
astonishing impact for the good this quarter.”
