Protocol Global Solutions Completes Successful School Supply Drive
Leading Contact Center, Case Management and Monitoring Services, and Integrated Marketing Solutions Provider Partners with Staples and DoSomething.org to Collect and Distribute More than 3,000 Supplies to Children in Nine Locations
Protocol Global Solutions, a trusted leader in global BPO services, announced the recent successful completion of a month-long school supply drive. Protocol partnered with leading office supplies retailer Staples and DoSomething.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping underprivileged children, to distribute more than 3,000 supplies in time for the start of the school year.
“More than 13 million children live in poverty in the U.S. and Canada,” said President and CEO Don Norsworthy. “Even basic school supplies can make a big difference to these children as they head back to school.”
Between July 22nd and August 14th, Protocol’s nine U.S. and Canadian locations collected the school supplies. At the drive’s conclusion, each location partnered with a local Staples store to distribute the supplies to non-profit daycare facilities, schools, libraries and other organizations that support children and education.
In addition to the school supply drive, Protocol will once again conduct a Thanksgiving food drive and Holiday toy drive. Last year’s drives were immensely successful, with each Protocol location actively participating to help those less fortunate in their local areas. A special section of the Protocol website,
www.protocolglobalsolutions.com/Philanthropic, includes details on all of the company’s charitable giving efforts.
“We want to make a difference in the communities we live in and serve,” said Norsworthy.
